For us, "Il Piatto Rotto" is cooking with the awareness that eating must be a pleasant experience and sometimes "break" some traditional dish, enhances and helps maintain a good mood.

The trattoria is also an exclusive wine bar with a well-stocked cellar of excellent local, national and foreign wines. DOP wines, reds, whites, prosecco, sparkling wines, champagne to accompany your dinner, to be enjoyed during an aperitif or for a relaxing after dinner.

All this enriched by a careful and courteous service.

This is the broken dish for us, cooking with the awareness that eating must be a pleasant experience and sometimes "breaking" some traditional dish enhances and helps maintain a good mood, as the dishes were broken in antiquity!
In the creative fantasy kitchen it is a bit like when you return home late at night by opening the fridge based on the ingredients available, you will invent a dish that tastes of known flavors and new combinations.

It takes passion and dedication to never stop experimenting.

I use quality products and materials personally selecting them and I enjoy proposing new dishes according to my mood. In other words, I like to question myself every moment, comparing myself with my colleagues AND leaving the final judgment to the customers!
